Reserves pick up two points on the road!

The Reserve team had another excellent win last Friday evening, coming home from Derrygonnelly with all two points on the bag. A strong team effort ensuring they ran out 5 point winners.

Newtown started the first half well, with Aaron McDermott first to get on the score sheet with a trademark run from the right wing and firing over from the outside of his boot to open up with a good point. Read the rest »

Last Man Standing

Another crazy night on Last Man Standing, 29 out of the remaining 31 knocked out…Thats 2 people left after just 2 rounds of the league! 62% of those that crashed out picked either Tempo or Lisnaskea, both of these games ending in a draw!

So Joe Connolly and Ryan Smith live to fight another day in Last Man Standing!

New Jersey Launch!

There will pictures in The Impartial Reporter tomorrow and The Fermanagh Herald next Wednesday of yesterday’s launch of the clubs new jersey at the primary school. The prize winner’s, whose designs were incorporated into the new jersey, were all presented with a jersey while all others received a First Fermanaghs 125 wristband!

Seniors begin 125th league campaign!

Our Senior team got their 125th league campaign started on Sunday afternoon, coming away from Devenish with a well earned point after a hard fought game.

It took almost 10 minutes for either team to register a score, before a John O’Flanagan free found its way over the bar.  Brendan Gallagher made it a two point lead for Devenish with another free. The Newtown back line were withstanding some heavy pressure from Devenish with both Dan O’Keefe and Chris Reilly solid. Read the rest »
