The first Fermanagh’s recorded there first win of the season, on a day where our young talented minor Jarlath Jackman showed his true potential with a quality performance, along with Colum Monaghan who was the influential figure in the First Fermanagh’s eight point win over St. Joseph’s, a slow start from the first Fermanagh’s seen St Joseph’s race into a 1-02 to 0-00 lead before Colum Monaghan grabbed Newtown’s first score of the game with with a coolly taken goal, this was shortly followed up with a Monaghan free kick, with 20mins gone a Connor Maguire goal brought the game all square, 1-o4 to 2-01. Further points from Colum Monaghan (free) and Jarlath Jackman(2) seen the teams go in a half time all square. The second half seen Newtown up the ante and when Ryan O’Keefe smashed home Newtown’s third goal the game was up for St. Joseph’s. St Joseph’s 1-13 Newtownbutler First Fermanagh’s 3-14
